Investor overview

The retained search marketplace for professional and executive hiring.

Companies use ExecHaus to define a critical role, review three matched independent recruiters or search firms, and choose one to conduct an exclusive retained search through a shared marketplace workspace.

The business, precisely

Three participants. Distinct responsibilities.

Buyer

Hiring company

Submits the role, reviews matched specialists, selects the search partner, interviews candidates, and pays the retained-search fee through ExecHaus.

Marketplace

ExecHaus

Provides structured intake, recruiter matching, contracting, payment administration, shared workflows, performance standards, and marketplace quality controls.

Service provider

Independent recruiter or search firm

Accepts the exclusive engagement, conducts the search, assesses candidates, builds the shortlist, and supports the company through the hire.

What ExecHaus is not

Not a staffing agency, job board, internal recruiting team, or open race among multiple recruiters. The selected independent search partner—not ExecHaus—conducts the search.

The problem

Important searches still begin with an opaque decision.

01

Recruiter selection is inconsistent

Companies often rely on familiarity or referrals without a structured way to evaluate which independent search specialist is best suited for the mandate.

02

Accountability is fragmented

Multi-recruiter competition can increase activity without creating clear ownership of the search outcome.

03

Search visibility is limited

Hiring leaders need clearer milestones, communication expectations, and marketplace oversight.

Why this can become large

A transaction marketplace that becomes a system of intelligence.

ExecHaus begins with high-value retained-search transactions. Each completed engagement can deepen company relationships, recruiter performance history, and the data used to improve future matching.

High-value wedgeCritical, recurring searches

Professional and executive searches carry meaningful fees and repeat as companies grow, replace leaders, and build new capabilities.

Fragmented supplySpecialists become discoverable

Independent recruiters and search firms possess valuable niche expertise, but companies lack a consistent way to find and compare the right specialist for each mandate.

Compounding advantageOutcomes improve selection

Structured intake, matching decisions, delivery milestones, and search outcomes create evidence that can make future matches more precise and the marketplace harder to replicate.

How the marketplace works

From role intake to hire.

The marketplace creates choice before commitment, then supports one accountable, exclusive retained-search engagement from intake through hire.

The company makes the final selection. ExecHaus never assigns the search partner.
  1. 01CompanySubmit the role

The company enters the mandate, desired outcomes, compensation, requirements, and search priorities.

  2. 02ExecHaus marketplaceComplete structured intake

The platform guides intake and confirms that the mandate and commercial terms are complete before matching begins.

  3. 03Matching engineSurface three qualified matches

At launch, structured AI-assisted matching uses verified recruiter profiles, relevant experience, function, industry, level, geography, capacity, and conflicts. Completed-search outcomes strengthen recommendations over time.

  4. 04CompanyReview three matches

The company compares fit rationale, relevant experience, search approach, performance signals, capacity, and conflicts, then chooses whom it wants to meet.

  5. 05Company + independent recruiterConfirm fit and activate the engagement

The company makes the final selection after a fit conversation. The chosen recruiter or search firm accepts the exclusive mandate; ExecHaus does not assign the partner.

  6. 06Shared marketplace workspaceRun a transparent retained search

The recruiter sources and assesses candidates while the company tracks milestones, communication, shortlist progress, and search health in one shared workspace.

  7. 07Company + marketplaceHire, pay, and improve future matching

The company hires through the selected search partner. Marketplace payments and outcome data support accountability and improve future recruiter-fit recommendations.

How ExecHaus makes money

Revenue is earned when retained searches are activated and delivered.

The company contracts and pays through ExecHaus. From each collected retained-search installment, the independent search partner receives its contracted share and ExecHaus retains marketplace revenue for the infrastructure and services it provides. Detailed percentages and unit economics remain in the private investor materials.

Software handles repeatable intake, matching, workflow, milestone, communication, and payment processes. Marketplace operations focuses on vetting, quality, exceptions, and escalation—not performing the recruiter's search work.

01Company

Pays the agreed retained-search installments through ExecHaus.

02ExecHaus marketplace

Administers the contract, collection, workflow, and standards.

03Independent search partner

Receives its share as corresponding installments are collected.
